EDU 302.1: Weekly Review 


05/12/2022 ; Monday

After second semester, school teaching practice started as usual.l I reach the school by 9:15 a.m. I had two classes for 8th and 9th for 8. I took the chapter "Reflection of light in spherical mirrors" again. since the portions are completed for the second term exam some topics were revised and the questions asked students were active but attribution time some disturbance by arised and through questioning and giving impositions.I was able to manage the class towards the end of revision, games were played with respect to the subject matter.

06/12/2022 ; Tuesday

Today as usual I came to school by 9:15 a.m. we had small conversation with the headmaster. Today  I had two classes for both 8 and 9th for 8 I took the topic homogeneous mixtures it was taken through the concept attainment model. before the class all materials were made ready since it was a model-based class some positive example items were shown with the help of PPT students were actively participating doubts by clear then for 8 I got a substitution our I gave the notes and revision was conducted.
 
07/12/2022 ; Wednesday

Today I take one substitution class for the 9th then I conducted revision for all topics regarding 2nd term examination then afternoon the students had a scholarship exam conducted as part of the Bishop Stanley Roman Sapthathi ceremony. so I took exam duty charge for 8th division, it was an exam for a duration of 1 hour. It was a nice experience of taking charge of the exam duty and the day went well.

08/12/2022 ; Thursday

I reached school at 09:10 am. Today due to education strikes students by left back home by 10:30 we were asked to leave by 11.

09/12/2022 ; Friday

 Today we started revision as exams were approaching. Students came with exam doubts and doubts were clear and questions were discussed . Previous year question papers were also discussed and gave students time to learn.

   EDU:401.2      WEEKLY REVIEW - THIRD WEEK  26/06/2023- Monday Today as usual reached  school, I did not had any lesson plan class but took a substitution class for 8 b. There I taught some problems related to' Measurements and Units'. As today was the National Anti drug day ,we all were involved in helping and arranging the chairs for the program which was conducted by the district child welfare community. we also involved in the  duty to correct the answer sheet of quiz competition conducted on behalf of the drug campaign. SECOND WEEK

   EDU: 401.2    SCHOOL TEACHING PRACTICE -  SECOND WEEK   DAY 3-19/06/2023(Monday) Today I reached school at 9:00 a.m. As this day was reading day,a special assembly was conducted by the SPC students of the school. At first  headmaster gave message to all students about the importance of reading. Then the upper primary  students conducted various programs like sharing about their favourite book, reading experience  etc. Today I had class for 8B, it was not a lesson plan based class. There I took physics topic, thickness of paper and diameters.Then I took a substitution class 8B ,there I completed the topic "Tiny particles and Matter "experiments were shown using potassium permanganate crystals and then which sugar. Students were attentive  and  interested to know more about matter.
